Sapphire on a Wednesday Night.

Let me start by saying that I have been to many gentleman's clubs in my former home state and multiples around the US, I also have lived in Las Vegas for 2 years. I had yet to been to Sapphire's and I had a buddy who just landed and wanted to have some fun. On a whim I decided to suggest Sapphire's as I had never tried it. We hail a cab and arrive. At the front desk everyone was very polite (including security) and welcoming which was nice but then the pretty girl at the desk asks for $45 for cover each. Once again, I am a local and it was a Wednesday, I feel like $45 was a bit steep. It is what it is, I paid and walked in. We go up to the bar and I order a Tanqueray (call beverage) and it was $20. Also, seeming a little steep. I am far from cheap and work in the service industry myself, on the strip no less. I tipped $3 which I felt like was more than accommodating and the bartender rolls her eyes at me and walks off, well I wanted to order some shots too but I guess I can wait. Some girls come up and start chatting up my buddy and I. These girls weren't unattractive but they also weren't bomb shells which is fine (5 and a 7). These girls were very aggressive and my buddy later informed me that he had told the girl he wasn't interested and had just got there. The girl was relentless and ending up not leaving him alone and telling him her life story without his consent. The girl I was talking to was rather nice and sweet so I had no complaints. But, I was trying to show my friend a good time and we have this girl who won't leave us alone and keeps asking to buy her a drink after we already bought her one. I could tell my friend wasn't having a particularly great time and I slugged my drink down and walked out. This was easily the worst time I've had at gentleman's club. I want to go there to experience a fantasy and enjoy the company of beautiful women not be hustled left and right as I walk in the door. I understand you have to pay to play but this seemed a little extreme. When I have other friends in town that I am entertaining I am certainly going to other comparable gentleman's clubs. I would rate this a solid 3 of 10.
