A Night of Surprises
A friend and I are in town for WrestleMania, so we decided...okay, I insisted...that we go to Baby Dolls first on Saturday night. After reading the reviews and all, it only seemed right to give BDs the "prime time" treatment since it seems like it's the best club. We got messed up by my oversleeping and we didn't get out there until maybe 11:50.
Most people reading this know the layout, but just in case; the "first things first" type stuff: we got there and drive through the parking lot to get to the far side where I was pleasantly surprised to find out that parking was free. For some reason I thought there was a charge, but oh well. We paid the $7 to get in and that was that.
Turned right to walk into the club, and at that point you're in the 'front right hand' side of the club. There's a girl with a cooler of beers right in front of you, and there's a huge oval bar that is the centerpiece of the middle front part of the club. Along the very front are some tables on each side and a really big staircase - at least in comparison to the SCs I go to. It's funny: it seems like that'd be better for the stage setup than something for everyone, but alas. It leads to an upstairs area with another bar, a few tables, and some booths in the very front (or back, depending on how you look at it since you're walking toward the 'front'). Oh, there are some booths at the very front of the club downstairs too.
