Slowly but steadily improved

But still a long way to go. The problem isn't Manhattan's, but rather the city shutting everything down so early and being sleepy. Closing at 1am is rough because in the few times I've been in the last year, the magic hour is 11pm-Midnight. An hour too early and you're still warming up in there, and an hour too late, it's closing time. It really benefits when there's a bar crawl going on.

But whatever, as a strip club, Manhattan has improved slightly. The social media presence is a great welcome and some of the other clubs in the region would learn to do well by taking Manhattan as an example. You can always check out their Facebook page to see what's going on, they do a good job of keeping it updated. You'll also find the pictures of a few of the dancers there, a true bonus. While the quality has improved, it's only slightly.

One of the most notable changes is the dance area that has moved. Now a make-shift dance wall is cordoned off by half-walls to provide for some semi-private dances. There's no doubt a camera watching all the booths but at least you don't have a guy enjoying your dance with his eyes too. It's a big upgrade over having a bouncer standing at the entrance of a corner cave of ripped cushions (I learned all the drink specials on the back of that bouncer's shirt).
