I was hoping that Café Risque would feature some really hot young women given it's close proximity to Gainesville and the University of Florida campus, but I was disappointed.   I was there briefly on Sunday night at about 11 pm, and I saw five dancers working.  Only one of them was the least bit attractive to me.  She calls herself "Roman." She has a perfect, if petite, little frame, shortish brown hair, and a little too much ink.  Her brilliant smile and giant librarian spectacles added to her appeal.  She also rocks some tasteful little piercings on her belly button and her clitoris.  As soon as she was undressed I made a trip up to the stage for a seat and tipped her about ten bucks.  That was way more than anyone else did.  Once her stage shift was over, she made a beeline to me and asked me to buy some private dances from her.  I asked her to explain the options / rules.  She showed me a menu of five options, and said the three in the middle are "bullshit, so don't bother."  The ones she does approve of are $30 private lap dances and $120 VIP dances.  She said they sell them based upon time rather than by the song, but I don't remember what the durations are.   The exact information is clearly available in an earlier review by "flfattass."  When Roman informed me that the panties must remain on for any contact dances, I was no longer interested.  I asked her if this was a county ordinance, and she said "nope, it's Florida state law."  I find this remarkable given what I've read about a number of clubs in Tampa and Miami.  But I don't know.  This is the only strip club in Florida I've ever seen for myself.

Two things about this place I found very peculiar.  It's a little too well lit, and they have a full menu of food.  Imagine a Denny's with a stage in the corner with a bare-assed dancer.  And, in keeping with so many reports on this site, the waitress was definitely the hottest girl there.  She was wearing a pair of little black boy shorts that barely contained her perfect ass.  Feel free to judge this place for yourself, but it's not my cup of tea.
