Not What It Used To Be

I used to like this club, but lately it's been nothing short of a string of disappointments. I have almost stopped going there completely, and the final straw was when they fired a dear friend of mine (and of many customers and club staff) for something that happened which was the club's fault, not the dancer's. Since she was fired (I'm talking about Aaliyah, one of the sweetest kids you'll ever meet, especially in a strip club), a number of girls have been very unhappy there (including some of the staff), and the vibe is no longer a fun one like it used to be. One girl told me she quit for a few weeks because of the incident, and now she won't talk to the bitch manager who did the firing.

Aside from that story, the policies and attitudes at the club have been wearying and fun-reducing, like the way they started charging a daytime cover; they raised the nighttime cover; they don't honor the logo-free-entry unless you have the logo with you (they used to allow you in when they knew you and knew you had a logo-free-entry); they're not as nice to the girls like they used to be, which causes dancers to easily quit and move on (what happened to Lotus, Sage, Rage, many others). In short, the place is much less enjoyable, so I pretty much avoid it. There are some new girls who are quite pretty, but very few who are nice to hang with like they used to have.

Unfortunately, there isn't really a good "replacement" club for me in the Valley. So I go less often, and I travel farther away (COI, for example). If you do go there, don't expect too much real friendliness anymore. IMHO...
