Annual Flash trip

I first came to this club about twenty years ago, and it's remarkable how little it's changed. Lots of beautiful/sexy women, nearly all of them born outside the United States--no wall to keep these immigrants out, please! The venue seems a bit cramped--it is, after all, completely underground, essentially a basement.

I will provide some of the best advice you'll get on this club. Two things: 1) A great time to come by is about 7 pm as you get the day shift trying to make their last score and the new chicks before it gets crowded. 2) Even more importantly, arrive drunk, or well on the way. The drinks are obscenely expensive, and before you respond with a valid, "All strip clubs have overpriced drinks," hear me out. With a $50 bill and the customary bartender/waitress tip, you can buy only three beers. If you drink a six-pack, you're effectively burning a Benjamin.

Oh, one other thing. You will get propositioned by every girl in the place for dances. Repeat, every girl. Some guys like this. Not me. The same inane banter over and over, both of you knowing that she's only working toward an entreaty to get a dance. Personally, I like to survey the landscape, weigh all options and choose independently. If you like being approached, and you don't mind telling and retelling the same boring story of what you're doing in NYC, or what you do as a NYC resident, it's great, I suppose.
