Gave it Another Try

Was taking care of some business and drove past Tommy's Too. It's been several years since I've visited. But, I had heard there were new owners and the place had been remodeled. From the outside it looked pretty much the same. I thought what the heck, I'll turn around and have a quick drink before spending the rest of the afternoon in the Porltand traffic.

When I walked inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The place has been remodeled extensively and the bar is much more modern. The stage and men's room didn't get much of a makeover though. Anyway, there were four girls (3 at the bar and 1 on the stage) and two other customers. The four girls were all about average. One was one of those super skinny types that I don't really go for. None were spinners, but in general not horrible on the eyes.

I ordered a beer and took my place at the stage along with the other customers. Dances themselves were uninspiring as the girls seemed mainly interested in seeing if I wanted a private dance. There were two options for the private dances. The first was a standard couch dance, while the second was a VIP dance. The hottest girl of the bunch was really trying to convince me that we should do a VIP dance. She assured me that the VIP room is totally private and what goes on in there stays there.. The cost was $200 for like 30 mins but she implied that my mileage would be very good. I was mainly interested in the couch dance (el' cheapo me), but she wasn't interested in providing one of those (can you believe it, I mean I am the customer). She said it wasn't private enough. Anyway, $200 is pretty damn expensive for me, and I decided after one beer that I should save my money for another day.
