Chocolate overdose
First review of the year! Yes, Cheetah still exists. This was a slow Monday night with 5 dancers and up to 7 customers (decreasing to 3 by 9:30).
I parked on 35th and came in. I got the usual pat-down. It was before 8, so no cover. There is a bar to the left and a room with a stage to the right with 0--2 girls dancing at a time. The place is old and run down. Some of the linoleum on the stage was cracked off exposing a bare area. Dancers go for 3--4 songs and kneel or sit on a blanket. Half the customers sit at the bar and half in the main room with tables and chairs. There is tipping on stage, plus most dancers do a tip walk but may not visit all the customers. Beer is $3.25. There is also a back room with 2 pool tables, where some private dances may take place. Note: There are NO booths or curtains so your dances are in the open, wherever you might sit.
The owner Al, with his cane, sat down at the bar a while and then went away; his presence didn't affect the goings-on in the club. The dancers were slimmer than I recalled from last year's visits, none were significantly overweight on this visit. The juke box played songs including, "Girl you make me want to get you pregnant" by R. Kelly and that fit because 3 of the 5 girls had some baby flab but nothing excessive. The stage dances were sexy enough and a good value. The lap dances were just a prolonged version of the brief contact and grinds you might get for just one $1. Dancers were not pushy about soliciting $10 lap dances. I saw 2 customers getting lap dances at the bar, tipping $5s and $1s all the while. Raunchier activities such as fingering and hand jobs have been witnessed here when it is busier--on weekends--but are unlikely on a week night.
