Down and out

I hit this place after leaving OGD and completely regret it. It was early evening and shift change, so I didn't expect to see many dancers. What I did see was pathetic. Old, really fat and nasty--and since I mainly hit Akron dives I don't have high expectations, but this place has really gone down hill. Several of the dancers who did arrive had "boyfriends" in tow, some of whom sat waiting around the bar. The bartender and the dancers who were leaving played around like 12-year-olds. It was a wasted stop. I did talk to one dancer who said she had been working at Lusty's but left because the place was closing. Normally these reports are total bullshit since dancers often trash their old bars, but I believe DG and Lusty's have the same older. For now, it's just a rumor, and I'd dismiss it, but this girl was pretty adamant. Anyhow, DG is in a downward spiral. I have no interest in ever returning and honestly don't see, with all the club competition in Akron, why anyone would spend money here.
