Homey feel, homely dancer

First the good news. Rare Cherry is in a great location - right on Lake Erie. If you sit at the bar you have a great view of the lake, something you can just stare at and enjoy. Which is a good thing because - at least when I visited the place - you couldn't really stare at and enjoy the dancers. There were two heavy set dancers who went on the small stage that sits at one end of the bar. A third, skinnier girl came in to the bar area, hung around for a few minutes and then went backstage never to appear again. That was a disappointment. On the other hand the place is very laid back, everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Drinks are cheap. For me it's a good place to hang out and relax, but not a place where you'll see anything that's likely to get you very excited.
