Good visit, good times

Gallaghers is an interesting place; they run corny ads on late night tv and radio frequently, and I used to laugh at it for that. That was, until I went to visit. They have an interesting layout but there are a ton of good times to be had. There is one stage with a couple of poles (generally 2-3 dancers at a given time), which is surrounded by the main bar. There is another stage on the opposite side of the room, which is slightly below the bar stage. In between is a smaller stage area with two poles.

The first is where the girls dance most frequently, and they do walks around the bar for singles, and the seating here is mostly bar stools. Definitely where most people are on a given night. The second stage they use on particularly busy nights; the middle stage is similar. But between stages 2-3 are nice, plush chairs and couches- and definitely where I like to sit. The girls will make their way over every so often- you'll always seem to have a nice selection here. But you'll be infinitely more comfortable here while you enjoy the views, even if it might take a little while longer to see a lady.

As far as the ladies, expect a decent range of eastern Europeans of varying ages, with about 20% of locals and minorities- or at least that's the rough breakdown I see when I've gone. The girls here do also have a varying selection of quantity, but I've found if you wait you'll definitely find what you're looking for. Money here is definitely a good value for the area- consider this is New York City. So the $20 lap dance is average, but they'll either take you to an upstairs area under the watchful eye of some big guys, or if they like you, they'll do a dance in your chair (at least if you're in the lower section- I can't speak for the bar area). The real value here is the "vip" rooms, which run $180 for 30 minutes. The going rate in NYC from my experience is always at least $300 for 30 minutes, so this is (relatively speaking) a damned good value. I've always found myself really satisfied here, and a lot of the girls go the extra mile to make sure you have a good time.
