sinclair's Review
I stopped at Bonkers Saloon after 22:30 on a Tuesday evening. There was no cover charge, and a Sincweiser was $4. The club looks like some kind of pole barn from the outside. Parking is perpendicular to County Road R. As you enter, there are gaming machines and a vending machine to your left along the wall. The full service bar is to your immediate right. Straight ahead is a large rectangle stage, receding all the way to the back wall and dressing room. There are two poles on the stage. The front pole spins and the rear pole is stationary. Food is available in the form of Hydrant Pizzas, or you can just hop across the street to the Big Apple sports bar. Music is played off of a TouchTunes jukebox; there is no DJ, so you must talk to the dancers to figure out their names. The club is nude, and all of the dancers did get nude on stage if there were tippers. Unlike the other clubs in the area, I did not witness dancers doing a tip walk after their stage performance.
There were four dancers working, three of whom were black. I was expecting more Caucasian dancers, but apparently this club has a reputation for bussing chocolate up from Milwaukee. Here was the lineup:
Sadie: African-American, early 20’s, slender.
Mini Mocha: African-American, 18 years old, petite and fit.
