Nice but Expensive

The new layout of the club is awesome since it became Scores. I used to stop in regularly when I lived in the area but now I only make it in once every few months, if that. Despite the great new look, I don't think I will make it a point to stop back anytime soon. I like the placement of the stage to the left of the bar and the VIP rooms (while small) are nice as well. Overall, I think the new name is an excuse to unnecessarily raise prices. I stopped in recently after having an appointment in the area. It was close to 4 pm so I wasn't expecting it to be packed. Turns out they had one dancer working, no DJ, and a bartender. Both bartender and the dancer were friendly and I ended up doing a 30 minute private dance for $300. It was a great dance, with no clock watching or interruptions. She was very sensual and was not a stickler about no touching.

The $300 dollar price point is an issue for me. Formerly, a 30 minute private dance under the old ownership was 200 bucks. When it first became Scores it went up to 250 (I assumed because of the bottle of cheap champagne you get), and now 300. By the time I left it was nearing six and they still had no other dancers coming in. It's a nice place and I'm sure I will go back at some point but I just think it's overpriced for not much of a change in atmosphere.
