Not Quite

As part of out Detwind trip we checked out the The Landing Strip (TLS) on Saturday night fairly early at about 8pm. $7 valet park, $10 to enter and 5 for $30 beer bucket to get us started. I want to like TLS and wish I could add it to my usual rotation but, once again it just did not quite deliver as we would have liked. The layout remains the same and the bar, seating and restrooms were clean and comfortable.

Good amount of girls working as they had a Stripper Parade just after we got there which amounted to 15-20 girls walking around the stage of which I would put 4-5 in the "dance worthy" category. Problem was we could not get any of them to interact with us. My buddy and I are not toads and we stage tipped 3-4 girls. Myself a thin brunette with a cute face and marvelous booty who promised to stop by once I settled in. She proceeded to sit at the bar for the entire remaining 45 minutes we were there by herself smoking. Note: This place is very smoky as it seems they let people smoke pretty much anywhere and not just in the upstairs "cigar bar".

Not much more to report as after we finished our bucket decided it was time to move on. The door guy said "so soon?" and I told him that we could not get any of the ladies to come over even after multiple tips and requests. Just kind of gave me a "sorry" look and shrugged.
