When in Wilmington, NC, it's Pure Gold

First, there are just two clubs to go to in Wilmington, Pure Gold and Crazy Horse. Either one is a great choice, but my preference is Pure Gold.

If you are from one of those big cities between Wash/Baltimore and Boston, you are used to the super-posh gentleman's clubs that are so over the top it's ridiculous. Plus the big hustle, competition over dancers (the big money wins, and most of us don't have that much $ to blow), and waking up the next day thinking, That was a great way to waster $500.00."

Not a Pure Gold. Not posh at all, but a nice interior and a cool, laid-back vibe. Nothing intimidating, but a high standard. Wide-open room around an enormous show bar, great sight lines, plenty of seating. Girls are not "superhot" ("superhot" means fake -- fake everything -- or girls who know they are superhot and just act like snobs and hustle every dollar out of you). Instead, great-looking girls with MUCH more personality than you would expect -- and no burn-out, no attitude, no games. I found three dancers I would happily drop my current girlfriend for, and it's not just because they were ultra sexy ("ultra-sexy," yes...I have to say they are).
