Quite possibly the best 'pound in a pint glass' strip bar in London

This is part of the Pubic Triangle close to the City of London. The 4 or 5 strip pubs in this area share a common theme - free entry (mostly), pub prices and a relaxed atmosphere with semi-naked, Easter European ladies prowling the bar as a lone DJ spins the tunes whilst girls take turn in stripping for the audience on a small stage for a £1 deposit into a pint mug. There is a general consensus that Browns or Metropolis are the best of these establishments and they are certainly the biggest and busiest, however I really like Ye Olde Axe for a few reasons:

1. The girls have a bit more time for you. Sure they might not all be of the standards of Browns or Metropolis but they aren't toothless octogenarians either and they are definitely more attentive.

2. It is quieter. You can generally get a seat at the bar.
