The layout, etc., of this place has been reviewed many times so I won't bother. Some days I am in the mood for super high end (PHC), medium (FC, BT's, maybe Criket), or low-end (Bogarts). I decided that today was a low end day and after reading some reviews of H8, decided to give it a try. I say all this with the attitude that I have had many enjoyable experiences at Bogarts so I was expecting about the same in terms of environment, dancer quality, VIP area, and bang for the buck.

So this was friday afternoon during the doomed MSU game, so the first thing I noticed was a bunch of people huddled at the bar watching the game. I thought great, let them stress over that while I clean up with the dancers. The second thing that hit me was the smoke. Wow. I expect some smoke at the low end and even medium places but this was ridiculous. There was a visible haze in there and it was difficult to breathe. I sat down at a chair along the back wall between the entrance and the stage and looked around at the girls. I counted about 10, 3 were AA, 3 were pushing 2 bills, and 2 were about 7's. I ordered a beer and waited, I decided, I would not tip at the stage etc. I would take the tact that if I was approached and I liked her, we would proceed, if not, I would leave for greener pastures.

In about 15 minutes, one of the 7's approached, asked to sit down, I said yes. white, auburn hair, mid-30's. although she said she was "almost 30". anyway, she was petite which I like and had a good, friendly attitude. Strangely after a lot of talk she didn't ask me to the back so I asked her. I think she was suspicious? or just careful, maybe it's how she rolls. No matter, once we got back, it was game on. [SIDE NOTE: someone posted about the big guy who takes the $10 for the wristband and sometimes doesnt give change, so totally on purpose I gave him a $20 to see what would happen, fully prepared to let him keep the change but I wanted to see him operate. Sure enough, he was very slow, I think stalling to the point of me just saying oh the hell with it, but I stood there just long enough for him to know I knew, but acted like I didn't know. He reached towards his roll of cash and then I said, "it's all set"] So, we find a booth, only one other very noisy couple back there. She sat on my lap and warned me that she was more pricey for VIP than most in H8, and indeed she was. negotiated 150 for BBBJ, it would good but halfway through she declared no CIM, so I had to basically let it fly, and clean it up best we could, sorry to whomever had to go in there after me. In the future always get the CIM clarified up front. She disappeared, after a trip to the restroom, I sat back down in the bar area, immediately a very tall, thin, AA sat next to me and started talking, but I was done, one more beer and hit the road.
