Van Nuys Dames n Games

I visited the Van Nuys Dames n Games club on a weekend night for the first time. I am not familiar with the LA clubs very much but was interested in the DnG concept. The first and main club is closer to downtown, and this club is located in Van Nuys in North LA / San Fernando valley, near Burbank.

The club is well appointed inside, with nice flat screens, and full bar, and a full kitchen with a good menu. There is one main stage, and a small stage in back. The sound system is good fidelity. Music is hip and rap, and not much else. The main stage lights are strobe and fairly high tech. So, the remodel has resulted in a newer interior that is more current and upscale than your average club.

The rest of the experience was not that great. It is a topless club, so the dancers remove their tops / bras on the 2nd song on stage. The dancer quality is not what I like, so I would rate it on the low side, mostly 4-6s. Mostly Latino or South American or black, from what i could tell. There were a few cuties, but not real foxy, and some that just were not attractive. The vibe here was also kind of different, either a LA vibe with a local inner city LA crowd, and a DJ who seemed strained to get anything going. It was not a good vibe in my opinion. Sometimes there would be a break in the stage dance, and music only ...for one song.
