The Brass

I visit this bar now and then, mainly in the afternoon/early evening. And for what it's worth, I'd say the quality of the girls has gone downhill over the past three or four years. Why, I'm not sure. In any event, compared to some of the other dives in Indy, it's an OK place if you're in that part of town.

Mostly, the girls don't hassle the customers too much for private dances. Some come around and offer "dollar dances" as an appetizer, of sorts. If you want something more, the regular lap dances take place in the back, in an open area with benches. $20 a pop unless it's before 2PM, when the price is $12. You can also opt for 30 minutes for $100, which occurs in another room. Still, there may be other guys in there getting dances, so it's not quite private. Also available are the "private" rooms, which I guess are more money. Never tried it, as there are supposedly cameras and microphones in there, so it probably wouldn't be much better than the regular lap dances.

So, you can go and drink a beer or two without blowing a lot of money, or, you can have a few lap dances. And the food isn't too bad, if you're hungry.
