requires a Passport?!?!?!

This club requires that you bring your Passport with you when you go in. I was shocked at how stupid such a policy is. I've traveled to more than 50 countries and i have NEVER taken my passport with me when i leave my hotel room. I cannot imagine anyone being foolish enough to go out ib a foreign country with their passport on their person. That has never happened before and will not start on this trip. I showed him my Drivers License from the US but hevsaid no, i had to give him my passport. Who in their right mind would turn their Passport over to the doorman at some sketchy strip club anyway. Where they get customers is beyond me. I won't ever be back.
