Catching my flight
I had been to E11even earlier in the night/early morning, but I had an early morning flight to catch at FLL, so I made my way north this club. It was around 3 am, and the parking was crazy. There is some sort of valet system near the entrance, but plenty of paved self parking along the shops parallel to the the freeway. I was surprised how far I had to go to find a spot since I basically parked in the furthest part of the shopping complex. I also witnessed a (possibly inebriated) driver hit a small light post while trying to park; security quickly rushed towards the incident, which made me feel oddly safe.
There was a quick line to get in, and my cover was waived since I had a ticket stub from the evening's Canes game. It was extremely crowded even though it was late. All tables were taken, bars were full and walking lanes were difficult to maneuver. I pushed my way to the bar to get a red bull for $10 and also get some singles. There were quite a lot of female customers and most looked better than the dancers! There was a quasi-rave like atmosphere with a decent amount of EDM, a giant robot walking around and some other costumed employees. I was surprised that the club had no problem with people taking pictures as long as it was not of the girls on stage obviously.
The line between employee and customer gets blurred here. I saw some customers be approached as if they were dancers, and I was asked for directions in the club as if I was a bouncer. I had the feeling that dancers don't make too much here relative to other big SOuth FL clubs since not that many folks were going to the back, and those that were returned back after not too many songs. The most entertaining part of my visit was seeing a group of attractive female customers in their 20s and 30s try to mimic what the dancers were doing by giving each other dances at their table. Unfortunately there was no gratuitous patron nudity.
