First time for everything

So last night (Thursday) a buddy and I headed out to twin rivers casino. After spending a few hours there we decided to check out the providence strip club scene. We're from Boston and never experienced one, and after some research we decided club desire was the one to try. Easy to get to, it is right off the highway. The outside looks like a plain brick building but once inside its a whole different atmosphere. It was the usual 10 dollar cover I experience everywhere else and looked to be pretty busy for a Thursday when we walked in. It is a clean place and at first seemed to be an older crowd, but got younger as the night went on. The drinks were nice and cheap from what I am used too. 8.50-9 for the mixed drinks and they make them pretty strong too. There are two different stages, a main one and a side one. The music goes along good with complimenting the dancers and everything was adding up to a good night. You can even go outside to the "patio" to smoke cigarettes, enjoy drinks or just relax on the couches. The dances range from 25-35 (topless 25, nude 35) and the private rooms range from 100-130 for 15 minutes and 200 for a half.

There was a whole mix of dancers (white,Spanish, black etc) and all seemed nice for the most part and tried to connect with you and make you feel comfortable. For the most part though it was basically just topless dancing unless you got them to have a dance with you or get them in the private room. As the night went on though it seemed like more clothes came off. I would recommend a private room with someone you really enjoyed. Some girls have a full menu open but to my knowledge it will cost you some money. Some girls aren't really down for anything but a glorified lap dance. I would just be straight up with them beforehand and see what you can get. The only thing negative I can really say is, my buddy got played I felt like. I still find it his fault a lot, but he paid 500 to one of the dancers for the private room to basically do everything and just got some head. More was going to happen but he waited too long and they were closing the club down so his 30 minutes was more like 10. The girl said she would meet him at his car after but never came.

Overall though, it was a good experience and I would definitely go back now knowing what to expect and how to handle myself will make things easier. You have to approach these dancers, they can't approach you when you're sitting at the stage!! Get up walk around and talk to some girls! Pretty cool place, hope this helped.
