Packed on a Sunday evening

IR is clearly located in a much less savory area than either Lido or Cheater's, but I never felt unsafe. The parking lot was packed, which I took to be a good sign. There was a cover walking in, but I cannot recall what it was. My first impression were that it was practically standing room-only and smoky as hell. As empty as the other two were, this one was packed, The long narrow bar has three sides open and runs down the middle of the building. There is a fairly large stage to the left, with seating of all kinds around it. The outside walls were all raised areas and additional seating. Lots of old-timers were present this evening, and there far side of the club looked to be a large buffet spread, but I did not sample.

It took me forever to get a beer, and it was a pricey $6. You could not always tell which girls were on shift and which were hanging out. I was fortunate enough to find a table with one chair near the stage (meaning she would have to sit in my lap, whoever she would be). There was not a girl there above a 6 or 7, and they were always all tied up. One woman did come up to me fairly quickly. Her name was Susan. She was a tall thin blonde wearing one of those "sock dresses", that flattered her. She asked if she could sit with me after her set. I agreed. As soon as she began stripping on stage, I regretted saying yes. She must have been in her forties. While she was not at all fat, you could she was soft and had cellulose where her muscles had atrophied. Worst of all was her boobs. An absolutely botched boob job. Bizarrely misshapen orb statues. But, she was a hustler. Came off stage, brought me to the corner, and started asking where my hotel was and talking about how her regulars were not coming because of bike week. There was lots of stick shifting, my hands would have been free too go anywhere, but I did not want to touch her kitty for fear of what was down there. I gave her a couple of sympathy dances with a tip. I stuck around for another beer, but there was no reason for me to stay.

I amazed at how packed it was for a Sunday evening. If they have hotter girls on other nights, it could be worth another trip.
