First time in three years

I used to come here fairly regularly a number of years ago and then the dancer I came to see quite dancing. Low and behold to my surprise I get a message from her saying she is working here again and I should drop by to catch up. I show up about 3:30. The place has gotten some renovations and looks a little better. The bar has new lighting that really draws ones attention. I get a Heineken for me and a draft beer for her and it is $16. Wow. Plus I tipped two dollars to the barkeep. I do not remember being that much for two drinks. I recognized no one but my friend. We chatted for about three hours. It was nice seeing her. I decided to get a dance to compensate her for her time. They are now $30 each-they were $20 and the bar takes $5 a dance. Dancers used to be able to give deals and now that is no longer possible. There are now booths with curtains but they cost $220 for 30 minutes-$120 to the house and $100 to the dancer. Plus the girls come around asking for tips. I forgot about that. She is just working daytime hours, but will work Sundays early. It is still nice to hang put a bit, but I would no longer make this a regular hang out.
