set you terms and stick to 'em!

Folks, follow the advice others have offered before - negotiate your terms up front, and stick to them all the way through! The ladies at this spot are straight hustlers, and will catch you slippin'. My problem is I walked in tired, and didn't feel like arguing - especially with an attractive woman. After declining the first that approached, the second one was welcome. After chatting for a few minutes, she started pitching VIP, where supposedly lots was on the table. I asked for a tour of the place, and wouldn't you know it - we ended up straight at the VIP? The quoted price was CAN$250, plus drinks, for a half-hour in a booth with half-walls. I made clear that was too steep, and had maybe US$180. Watch out - they ignore the exchange rate here! So we continued this gentle disagreement, with her insisting that I could always get the remainder from the cash machine, and me saying that I am not doing that, and the clock ticking. She also kept selling an extension of time ... The dancing itself was decent, with a bit of pickaboo of the package, but certainly not worth the $$$. Soon as the clock hit 30 min, she was dragging me to the ATM. I just didn't feel like making a scene, so let her have it and got out of there. So, take a lesson from me, don't get taken and stick to your guns. And find another place to visit.
