Better But Not Great

Since the remodel, the club looks better, but is still very much a local hangout more than a place of entertainment. Last time I was there, 3 of the 5 dancers I saw spent the whole time socializing with what were definitely regular "townee" dudes sitting at the bar. The drinks are good and reasonably priced, but the private dances are very expensive and zero contact. Door staff was cool but again, were always mixing it up with the locals so it would have been impossible to ask a question, get more singles, etc. Overall a good atmosphere, but a little too "townee" for my tastes. A few times I felt like I was an outsider stepping into a "locals only" bar, wondering if I was gonna get jumped in the parking lot. LOL Definitely not the place you wanna push the limits with the dancers and go for any "extras". But I didn't get that vibe at all, so no biggie.
