Not For Everyone

I visited the Shark Lounge over the race weekend this year. The exterior of the building is in the middle of being renovated, requiring them to have a sign outside reassuring you that they are open. Not the best first impression. Cover was $10 around dinner time on a Saturday, which seemed excessive for what they had inside. The interior is pretty dated, but not especially dirty or gross. There's a full bar with a pretty relaxed atmosphere, and you can smoke inside.

There were about 5 girls working that night, with maybe one of them being a 5+. That being said, the girls were friendly and not aggressive. I didn't do any lap or private dances because I wasn't attracted to the girls, but folks coming out of the private rooms seemed satisfied.

On the whole, this isn't a great spot. I would go back to just sit at the bar, have a drink, and relax, but I'd go elsewhere in town to see some dances.
