Feature dancer Lacey Rain at TDs North

A friend of mine told me about a Feature dancer, Lacey Rain, "The Hurricane" at North, so I decided to stop in and check her act out. Arrived after midnight, usual ID check and wand at the door. Cover was $8, but used online coupon for free admission. Grabbed a beer at the door (beer was $6.75) Looked to be a very busy night for a Friday night. Place very full and plenty of dancers, but Talent looked to be the usual 3s to 7s. (one or two 7s) Was approached by a some of the dancers just after finding a seat, but I passed because I was there to see the feature dancer, Lacey Rain. She started her show out dressed as a harem girl/belly dancer with lots of veils. It was an interesting and entertaining show, her routine was high energy, good use of the pole, with a new twist on hanging streamers that were tossed into and across the club crowd with a confetti cannon at the end. However, IMO the audience did not seem to really respond to her show, their applause was lackluster, I thought. Anyway, I stayed a little while longer hoping to grab a few dances, but all the dancers I wanted a dance from were taken or unavailable, so I finished my beer and left. I was satisfied I caught the feature dancer show, had a beer and saw a few dancers dance, it was a shame I wasn't able to grab a dance or two from the few 7s I saw. Maybe another time.
