I've visited Booby Trap a number of times in years past when visiting South Florida, and always found it to be some good, dirty fun

I've visited Booby Trap a number of times in years past when visiting South Florida, and always found it to be some good, dirty fun. However, I can't recommend this club at this point:

- the physical structure has deteriorated to the point where it feels dangerous. The perpetual construction has given way to a general flimsiness and decay. One day there is going to be a fire, or a roof collapse, or some similar tragedy.

- the crowd, while never posh, used to seem like a genial bunch of PLs there to ogle and grope. On my most recent visit the crowd seemed to have taken a definite turn towards thuggishness. Hope the metal detectors are working.

- the dancers seem now to almost exclusively be comprised of 18-21 year old Cuban hookers whose command of English is limited to "dance?", "200 dollars", "sexo?" and "ATM".
