Dreamgirls, one of my favorite spots for a midweek relaxing evening. Just sit and relax, enjoy company at a table or the show at the rail. I decided to see what the day shift was about. Been to a few several years ago, and appreciated the quiet comfort and company, and the worthwhile bed dances. However, my last day shift visit was quite a disappointment. Arrived on a Thursday about 6pm a few weeks ago. Only 2 dancers and I was the only customer there. The dancers actually seemed annoyed that someone showed up, had to get off their phones, and actually dance on stage. One of the 2 dancers was forgettable. The second dancer was unforgettable, not because of what a great dancer she was, but how annoying she was. Ava. Actually asked me to leave if I was not getting a dance from her. It's going to be a while before I come back to check out the day shift. Others seem to have better luck on different days. For now, I think Ricks/Downtown Cabaret has my business. I may still stop by sometime for some weeknight bed dance fun, but it's not quite the same anymore ...
