First time at HK. Thankful for experience.

This was my first time at HK. Wasn't my first time in TJ, so I crossing the border and getting to the club was no problem. Many other reviews give details about the club, so I won't give the full rundown, but I will say I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. The club was a lot nicer than I was expecting. In my mind, I was envisioning a super seedy club, but it was actually quite nice. Got to the club around 9pm on Tues & Wed nights. No wait at the border, and no fee to get in.

I gotta admit, there were so many girls, ranging in size and shape. I personally like slim girls with cute faces and nice tummies. Unfortunately, on the 2 nights I was there, I only saw a handful of girls that caught my attention. I grabbed a seat and had a drink. I'm used to the US clubs where girls will come and introduce themselves, but that's not really how this place works. I usually like sitting and chatting with a girl before committing to anything, but again, it's tough here without the ability to speak Spanish. The first night, I tried to talk with a few girls, but had a hard time. By the end of the night, I found a really cute girl I wanted to spend some time with, and just asked to buy her a drink. Basically, she'll sit with you as long as you keep buying drinks ($9 each). Went to do a lap dance ($20/song) in a private booth. It was pretty standard, since I wasn't after anything naughty.

The second night, I had a better idea of what to expect, so I went in with a better gameplan. Found a booth to sit at, and made friends with some of the waiter dudes. Instead of waiting for the right girl to come by, it's important to just tell the dude which girl interests you and ask him to bring her over. Bought drinks of a few girls, and asked them to dance for me, since conversation wasn't really happening. Again, just keep buying them drinks and they stay with you. When I got tired of the girl, I'd wait for the waiter to come by and ask if I want to buy another drink. When I would decline, the girl would politely say thank you, give you a kiss and go away. Not a bad system!
