Improving but still dank
I avoided this place for years because it is dark, depressing, and worst of all lacked dancers. I gave it another try based on positive reviews on TUSCL. Things have improved. They still allow smoking which is not a plus for me but not a deal breaker either. They are the only club in the panhandle to allow smoking (only one in Jefferson county, Berkeley county has a ban). After a year and a half, it seems to be helping business.
They open at 6 or 7, but NOTHING happens until at least 9. Until then, a bunch of guys hang out at the bar. But later girls take to the stage in groups of 2 or 3. $35 per dance, which is pretty good for what you get, but they have a weird system of pay the house ($15) then pay the girl ($20). Many of the girls are nothing special, have awful tats, and are generally unfriendly to hostile (Cory, Layla, Charlie, Adrien) but I can recommend Bridget, Kim, and Gwen. I wish the DJ girl (Jamie) would get on stage, but I like big women. Some of the dancers straight up ignore non-redneck patrons.
