A little to laid back if you ask me
Was in Denver the week before the superbowl, as it turned out it was a pretty slow week for clubs, being very cold and a with a bunch of fans already having headed west for the game. I mention this because I typically prefer it being slow when I visit strip clubs - improves the dancer/customer ratio in my favor, at the expense of dancer quality. I usually don't mind that trade, but this time I got way slower than optimal.
Anyways, the club was walking distance from my downtown hotel which was great. Inside, there are two stages (or three?), both with a dancer each. I hung out at the bar which gave me good line of sight to both stages. I was there for almost an hour before any of the girls (other than the waitress) approached me. Not that there were no girld... there were plenty of girls, just that they were either too bored or just busy chatting with each other. I would have very happily gone for a few dances with at least a couple of them, had they chosen to make money instead of yapping away.
Eventually, I went over to a dancer who seemed to have just come in and was hanging out at the bar - very cute spinner. I offered to buy her a drink - unfortunately she said she didn't work there but rather was there for an audition as a dancer, and she was next up on stage. She said if she was offered a contract, she might start working that night itself. I was her only customer by the stage shelling out the singles, but she did a great job at the dance. I hung around until 20 mins after she finished her dance but didn't re-surface. I tipped the waitress a fiver to find out what happened to her - she came back to tell me that the girl had been offered the contract but wouldn't be starting tonight, so she had left. I decided that was the end of my night at DC, going back with almost as much cash as I had entered with. Saved it for another day I guess.
