A Nice Afternoon Visit

I went to this club on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago since I was doing some work nearby. First time in a long time. I arrived at around 2pm. The club hasn't changed much at all from the outside. I went in and it took me quite a few minutes to adjust to the darkness inside. After that, I was surprised that it was fairly slow from both the customers and dancers side for the HL standard. There were probably less than 10 customers and probably even less than that for dancers. They had to have each girl dance for two songs and still there were times no one was on stage. BTW, they still had those uncomfortable worn out or even broken chairs. They really should replace them asap. I grabbed a seat in the middle of the floor and started to enjoy the show on stage. But it's getting boring pretty soon due to the limited number of girls working on this particular Sunday. An attractive slim girl approached me just before I got too bored. We had some small talks and she offered floor dance to me and I said why not. I had 4 dances from her and they were all solid good dances with mutual contacts, but nothing above the normal HL standard. It was still $10 per dance on the floor. After that I was called back to work at around 3:10pm.

It was a nice getaway from work on a Sunday afternoon, both nothing to brag about. Also, I am not sure if this slowness is the norm or the exception for a Sunday. If it is, I would avoid going there on a Sunday.
