Friday Night at Savannah's
I took a good chunk of time off from going to clubs and decided to make my first stop back at Savannah's after a couple years. The layout hasn't changed since my last visit here back in 2014. It's a large, clean club, $10 at the door and they took my coat, which was nice because I don't really want to carry a winter jacket around all night. In the past, I'd usually stop in on slow nights where I'd have room to breath and space to enjoy a beer, so I don't know what I was thinking coming out here on a Friday. It was packed and getting a seat at the bar wasn't happening. To the bartenders' credit, they were on their game and I had no trouble getting served.
Dancers at Savannah's have always been very attractive, but in the past, it's been hard to get their attention as they're usually clung to a regular. That wasn't a problem on this visit, which surprised me given how busy it was. They did a good job circulating around, introducing themselves, and they weren't pushy about it which is a huge plus. It keeps things relaxing. Chatted for a bit with a dancer named Kendall that I remembered from previous visits. Dances are still $20 and you can get an alright lap dance for that, but it's important to know that there is no funny stuff going on here. If you're looking for some extras, this ain't the place. If you're looking for some roaming, this ain't the place. This area is pretty dry when it comes to that.
This is still an enjoyable club to hit up. My personal preference is for the slower nights, but this time around, they had no problem getting around on a busy one. I wish they'd go full nude on stage more often, but what can you do?
