stopped in midafternoon . . . 2 black dancers, neither particularly svelte (ladies, lay off the ribs and slaw, wouldja?) and one white, with a kind of upscale for South Philly look. Before I'd finished a beer I was propositioned for a LD. Took it, what the heck. $30 per 4 min "song" in a private room, $20 in a common room. The PH, it's not. (Check NJ listing til you figure out what the PH is ... ) But by pre-PH standards, pretty decent. As I was leaving about 4 pm, there were 4-5 dancers just showing up for work, who looked better. Is this anything to write home about? I doubt it. But this is about as good as it gets in Philly w/o going to the riverfront.
