Not For Everyone

Was walking back from Caesar's towards the back strip and wandered by this place. If you're going from the Flamingo, the fairly short walk to Club Paradise goes directly by this place. Small as hell, but I thought I'd pop in and give it a try.

For someone that enjoys quality, this was a mistake. Platinum has the layout of a decent living room / mancave. One small room with a couple couches on the back wall and a single small stage opposite a 5-stool bar. This is a dive bar atmosphere, and I was immediately approached by two women, the only women I saw working there. One was extremely thin and looked like she was struggling with various chemical dependencies. The other was a VERY large spanish girl. She was pretty, but seemed to be about six feet tall and very thick. Definitely not my type, but friendliness sunk me. She was polite, and talked me into a couch dance. It wasn't brutally expensive ($40/2 short songs), and she gave it a good effort.

I was happy enough with her; she didn't do anything overtly wrong. The rest of the patrons there seemed borderline hostile to a guy in business casual clothes, so I stopped pressing my luck and all but ran out of there.
