Nice club, nice girls, nice food. Half Pink Pony, half Cheetah.
Pretty good club, if you remember the Pink Pony south, this is it (literally). Upscale-ish club but without as much pretense as Cheetah. hot girls, nice stage, good food, but huge inside and far from an intimate atmosphere. It's good for a boys' night out, bachelor party, much like the Cheetah or Oasis. Very comfortable seating, and on a friday or saturday night I'd wager it's packed. On a thursday mid-evening, it was fairly empty. I stopped by at about 5-6pm, there were half a dozen girls and fewer customers, so it was easy to get someone's attention. I'll certainly stop back again. Certainly worth a visit.
The history: Shortly after PP South opened, Forest Park tried to screw the owner, Galardi South Enterprises, by changing the laws regarding clubs. Galardi had to close Pink Pony South and Crazy Horse. After several years of lawsuits, Galardi won, and the city signed a settlement which allowed the reopening of both the Crazy Horse and the Pink Pony South. They reopened the building where PP South was, but it's under the Crazy Horse name, I presume to not dilute the branding, nor to make people think that it has to operate under the same strict rules the original Pink Pony has to operate under up in Brookhaven. So, this is the old Pink Pony South, but with the Crazy Horse name. Everything you remember about the PP South is still true.
