Fun in MN

Like most strip clubs, there's going to be a wide variety of girls - some gorgeous and some not so much. It's pretty much unavoidable - but I didn't see any girls that made me go "yikes" in a bad way when I was here this past Sunday.

For a strip club, the cover was priced very fair, but my $6.00 water made me a little skeptical. There are pros and cons to every strip club. Spearmint Rhino (SR) has certain aspects that are better, and worse than local competitors. There is only 1 pole that I saw in this club (con). The dancers actually do tricks on the pole (spinning pole not stationary) (pro!) The friendliest staff I've ever experiences, friendlier than a lot of upscale hospitality businesses (HUGE PRO - keep up the awesome work SR staff / management, I was blown away by the level of professionalism) they did seem to have a hard time trying to track the next girl to the stage though when the DJ called her name (con) they post the dancer line up online each night (pro if your a regular or return customer) friendly girls willing to chat for a few minutes without demanding cash (pro) dances on the main floor happen right where you sit, which seems semi-awkward out of respect to the girl on the main stage (con/pro) the glass needed to be cleaned of smudges on the main stage, that bothered the crap out of my OCD lol (con) full-liquor bar that was reasonably priced (pro) close by parking ramp with ample spots to park (pro) not nearly enough square footage (con) I didn't know what the rules were for going to the 2nd floor in this club, that could be explained better upon entry (con) good security out front with the metal scanning wand, safety is always a concern of mine downtown, especially on the weekend when you serve liquor (pro) club manager cards put out front make the club seem more professional upon arrival (pro) the music seemed a little random, didn't seem like it was always the dancer's choice (con) good looking building overall on the inside, appeared clean and professional (pro) bottoms stayed on and maybe a little less interaction for those on the tip rail - but it is a "gentleman's club" not a full on "full nude strip club" so I won't por / con that since it's a personal preference kind of thing.

If that wasn't a detailed enough explanation of the club, just go and experience it for yourself. I had a good time, I will probably go back again this week or sometime in the near future. Thanks again to the hospitable girls and staff, I wasn't sure to expect of this place when I first heard about it a few weeks ago.
