I used to be a big fan of Rose City Strip

I used to be a big fan of Rose City Strip. However, lately my visits to RCS have been disappointing for a number of reasons. I've noticed the DJ is now cutting songs short, and just for fun I started timing them and found on average the songs are cut off at 3:15 minutes. In the past they would play songs in their entirety, even if it was a 7 minute long ballad. Another new annoying trend is that dancers are starting to set their own private dance prices, and many of them are now saying $20 is for topless only no-contact dances, and $40 will be nude. Some have gone even further to require additional tips for "better" dances without defining what that includes. It also seems like they've stagnated on dancer selection. They used to frequently add new girls to the roster so there was a fresh selection, but lately it seems to be the same dancers over and over. Personally I like more variety. Maybe I just need a break from this place and spend more time at other clubs. Don't get me wrong, the place is still better than many other Portland clubs, but just not at the top of my list anymore due to these recent changes.
