Killing time between flights...

A friend talked me into a visit to the Criket (why is it spelled like that?) so he gave me a lift and we headed that way. Parked behind it, a nice change to park in a lot on your own for free right next to the club. It's a cozy club, nicely finished though, not a hole in the wall. My friend found his favorite girl 2 minutes after walking in (maybe why he was so dead set on going) and I didn't see him again for 45 minutes. He returned a happy man but only said he was "satisfied." I sat at the bar a little lonely while 1 girl at a time took her turn on stage. Not bad talent there, especially for a week day afternoon. At first I was only visited by and older, heftier dancer who just wasn't my type so I nursed a couple beers at the bar and watched the show. After a bit, a pretty brunette visited and asked to get to know me a bit better behind a closed curtain. Who was I to resist? We headed back and she got to work. Did a pretty good dance and offered some further attention, but I had a flight to catch so left with an offer to visit her again and some lipstick on the crotch of my pants. Not that I'm upset about that...
