Friday night

I went to Centerfolds on a Friday night. I got there just before 8 so no cover, but before the nude side opened. In contrast to visits during the day, there were a decent number of dancers. No 9 or 10s but solid 7 no one below a 4. The club was just about full.

However, very few dances being given and the dancers were not working the floor as much as usual. Even the regulars at the bars and the corresponding number of dancers drinking at the bar were absent. perhaps the dancers were biding their time for later (it was Friday of the Phoenci Open). Still I was not approached at all and I saw only one other dance being given on the floor. The vibe wasn't bad, just not that good.

The place has always had an industrial warehouse feel to it. They remodeled, wow, probably 8 years ago now and the remodeling is starting to show it age. Neither Bourbon Street or the Hi liter are any great shakes in the looks department (the Hi Liter borders on being a dump) so this is not a disqualifying fact. I think Cfolds is a little too light for my taste. I don't like that you only get one drink at happy hour. I also do not like the dancers doing two songs on the main stage. Keep them moving. All of these would be nothing if the dancers were better. They are not bad, just not up to HL or BSC,
