Friday 6pm at Fantasy Nights

Decided to stop by this club while driving through Syracuse on I-81. The club is only two blocks off the highway, and has no afternoon cover charge, so I thought I'd give it a try. I came through at 6PM on a Friday - expecting some kind of action in the club at this time. As other reviewers have noted, there is only street parking, but it wasn't a problem - I parked a half block back from the club on a major street and felt perfectly safe. I got inside, and there were only two dancers. One (an 8) was working the bar cozying up to the regulars (middle-aged to downright old working class white guys monopolizing the girls' time by talking about things like their diabetes or the retina operation they got last week), and the other was dancing on the pole. I approached the one on the pole to tip her, and she pulled back from the stage, saying she's not allowed to get close to a customer to receive tips. O...K... Not really what I was expecting. I then went back to the bar to see if the other dancer was done talking to the regulars. But she wasn't. And she wouldn't be for the rest of the 30 minutes I was there. Another dancer then came out of the dressing room, but same routine - straight to the regulars. For those who care, lap dances are $15 in the VIP room - but I didn't partake. I don't think I'll be back.
