Classy

I've been to Flashdancesr many, many times, and there's no doubt Rick's is much "classier". The hosts are friendly and make sure to shake your hand before seating you. The girls are friendly and usually have an actual conversation with you before going straight to "do you want dance". More of a mix than Flashdancers - besides the usual Eastern European girls, there are fair number of black and asian dancers as well. The girls are pretty hot and in good shape, but definitely not in the 9-10 range you'd see at Rhino in Vegas. Maybe a little on the older side as well on average. .

Rick's also sells VIP half hours (for $325, drinks not included), which I like as it seems like the right amount of time. The VIPs are in an actual private room with a closed off curtain, although I'm sure there are cameras and I've never had extras offered at Rick's.

In terms of value, comparing to other NYC clubs Rick's is pretty reasonable. Drink prices are average and happy hour before 8pm are actually pretty reasonable, VIP is about average (I think Sapphire was 2x that for a half hour).
