The cricket is not very consistent, but it is reliable.

The Silver Cricket is easy to get too, from I-94 eastbound, exit at Ecorse Rd (next exit past the airport), a quick left on Beech Daily, and north three miles. If you want to be sneaky, come in the back way by cutting through the neighborhoods over to Gully road after two of those miles. When you see Princeton street, turn, or you have two more chances. If you miss that last one you will have to go all the way to Michigan Avenue. If you need funds there is a TCF bank across the street at Michigan Avenue.

The parking lot is fenced and I always spark a bowl quickly before going in. Cover after 7 is $10. Booths are $20, I think, the bar seats or mini tables are included in your $10.

They have Beefeater Gin which I like, and normally the drinks are normally pretty strong. Not so much tonight, and they are $10 as well. So much to the local bar prices. But then I usually come here in the late afternoons before cover and I think it costs less to drink then.
