A valuable lesson learned
I left work a little early and was bored on a Friday evening so I made the trek to Dancers. I hadn't been there in about 3 months. I arrived Friday evening around 6:30pm. Paid a $5 cover and had my licensed scanned. The place was absolutely dead...I'd say only 8-10 customers at the most.
I chose a seat between the first 2 stages and ordered a beer ($6.75) When I first arrived, only 1 stage was in use and they were doing 1 song rotations. It seemed all the girls were gathered in the little area below the DJ booth. DJ would call their name, they would go and dance to 1 song then go back and sit down. No mingling with the customers that were there or anything.
When they were on stage, most of the girls acted like they didn't want to be there....and just kind of walked around the pole. I'm sure the dancers weren't happy because it was dead and no one was tipping. However, who would tip someone just walking around in circles acting like they didn't want to be there? The vicious circle..... On a positive note, the DJ was playing mostly 80s and 90s music (which I really enjoy) But, I didn't pay a $5 cover and pay $7 for a beer to listen to music.
