From Lexx to Climaxx - still a great club

This is my first visit to Club Climaxx (formerly Club Lexx/Rolex) since they remodeled. As per usually the case in Miami strip clubs - the remodel job is a little thrown together - kind of like putting lipstick on a pig but truly there are some marked improvements. This visit was on Sunday at 3PM. Entering the building - I noticed some stern postings about no weapons or violence allowed. No hand bags for the ladies. I think for this neighborhood and borderline clientele - this is prudent. Serious pat down at the front door - again i am pleased to see this. Any attempt to thwart the threat of violence in these clubs is appreciated. Once inside the improvements are obvious with the new bar, lighting and signage. There were about dozen girls working and the line up was overall very good. I think I only saw one girl below a 7 in the club. Almost all black dancers - may be one latin. Stage dances as always were awesome and the girls were friendly. I was especially happy to see two barmaids that have been working at the club for over ten years working - excellent service. this is a rarity in Black strip clubs - 100% better than the Body Shop for example where you wait for long periods of time without a drink and unprofessional bartenders. Even the new barmaid I had never seen before was very nice and right on top of things - checking constantly if a drink was needed and friendly. I took a couple of $5 dances at the bar - there seems to be a wide variance from dancer to dancer since they instituted the ten dollar dance room. Some girls are just like old times - high mileage for $5 and some giving air dances pushing the ten dollar or $25 vip. This is the one downside of the visit. I am sure over time - you will know the dancers that provide the best mileage but this can lend itself to disappointment for a new visitor to the club. Overall, a great trip and would recommend the dayshift at this club especially for the best experience.
