Gold Club #2
As soon as I walked in to this club, I thought I was at the Gold Club. The furniture, lighting, VIP and even the bar all looked strikingly similar. For second I thought, why would I ever come here if it is the same as the Gold Club. There were about 10 dancers on a Saturday at 3am. The majority were white and that is expected due the part of town that this place is in.
This club really promotes its full service kitchen and BYOB. I paid 15 dollars for admission and 5 dollars to bring a bottle. The most surprising aspect of this club was the music to me. The DJ was playing hardcore Memphis rap and had the music videos playing on one of the many TVs as well. I was expecting to hear a lot of country or rock roll songs but that was definitely not the case. I paid 40 dollars for a lap dance and I was impressed by the VIP. It was very secluded and there were mirrors everywhere. I was able to see all the glorious angles of the private session. This club has a lot of potential. They are striving to be different from the Gold Club. They are even starting to have Monday Night fights with the strippers boxing on stage. I think pure passion is only other club in Memphis to do that. I would recommend this club to anyone who doesn't feel like driving two more exits down the highway to get to the Gold Club. If you have the gas, you really shouldn't waste your time now. Try it again later on this year.
