The renovation of Club 1245 was just as impressive as the one at Jens--in other words, they cleaned up the bar area and scrubbed the carpets but otherwise it was the same old dive. The biggest change is the addition of a nude VIP section in the middle of the VIP room. It's just a curtained area, and the curtains are shear so there isn't much extra privacy.

When I arrived there were just two other customers and three dancers (who were getting dressed to start the shift). The bartender was pretty cool and went out of his way to hurry the girls out of the dressing room. There were two decent AA dancers--both thin and both 6's, along with a chubby--I believe pregnant--short white girl. I grabbed a drink and headed to the table in the back. One AA dancer, who had just started, cautioned me that the chairs in the back in the darker areas get $10 dances while the ones in the better lit areas were $5. I'm not sure how much truth is to that. The club never did that before. I wondered if she wanted to push me into the better lit areas because she was new, nervous and didn't want my pervy old hands on her. Whatever. I grabbed a seat at a $5 table and got an uninspired dance. The chubby blonde stopped by and out of boredom, I got a few dances that were much more inspired. I didn't feel like waiting around for the other AA girl, so I headed out, but not before asking the bartender about the nude dances. He said they were $30 and had no special rules. That conflicted with a story I heard about about Jen's nude area where a dancer claimed there was no contact. I guess time will tell, and I'll continue checking TUSCL reviews to see what the actual rules are. With that, I headed down to Dreamers.
