A case study
I have read the reviews but had to see for myself. This was my first visit to PP since the big event last spring. Sadly, all of the reports are true. I arrived about 4:45 pm and there were about 12 cars in the parking lot. Very bad sign. The club itself looks very good. Must be from lack of use. The reports seem to differ, but I actually got charged a $3 cover. I paid with a $20 and got all those annoying $2 bills.
I got a drink and I think it was $3 or $3.50. It was small, but still a decent deal. The club itself seemed almost depressing. All dressed up with no place to go. It seems huge as there were two tables of customers and about 5 dancers and the rest is just empty. Envy sat with me very quickly. She told me that she was there before the "event" but worked nights. We chatted about the changes and she told me for her there are not many. I questioned her on that and she told me that she still does what she always did in the dance room. She did add that she was not an "extra's" girl. She pushed for a dance, but I was very skeptical, so I just chatted.
Eventually, she got called to the stage, (First girl I saw on stage) and I decided to leave. I rarely don't get at least one dance, but the whole vibe just was not working for me. Maybe it is the anticipation or expectation, but PP just does not seem like the same place except for the $2 bills. I did ask the door girl to change them back as I left (which she did), and she asked for a tip to do so.
I will not be back as I think Greenville's changes are fairly permanent.
